FGD and annual gathering have produced a resume of three things:
- The concept of thinking in realizing Sustainable Rice Self-Sufficiency and World Food Granary 2045, which must be realized through various concrete steps, by increasing production, productivity, and quality, consistently by simultaneously carrying out intensification, extensification, food diversification, and policy reorientation in the food sector.
- Suggestions and inputs related to meeting the needs of standardization and transfer of agricultural technology and innovation. Innovation and technology are the keys to success in implementing policies to increase production, productivity, and quality of food, especially rice. Innovation and technology that can increase production efficiency need to be improved to compete in the market. Harmony in production and standardization of agricultural innovation and technology with the acceleration of its utilization according to field needs must be a serious concern. Parties related to agricultural technology research and development activities need to work together to take the government’s responsibility to provide access to technology for users, especially small-scale agricultural businesses.
- The direction and programs / activities of APPERTANI in the future. In line with the mandate of the Deed of Establishment of APPERTANI in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-0013016. AH.01.07 of 2020, the existence of APPERTANI has the potential to play an active role in institutional transformation related to the development of the research ecosystem, innovation and its utilization according to the tagline Agricultural Innovation and Solution.
