Dr. Ir. Hermanto, M.P

Dr. Ir. Hermanto, M.P, carried out his formal education in the field of Agricultural Socio-Economics, Jambi University, then continued his master’s education in the same field at Padjadjaran University, Bandung, and a doctorate in Agricultural Policy and Development at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Philippines. With a specialization in international trade policy, policy modeling and impact, and agricultural policy development. Hermanto currently serves as Secretary of the Directorate General of Agricultural Infrastructure and Facilities at the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture.

In addition, he also had time to join several expert teams, including; As an examiner in the S3 Agricultural Science program at the Sriwijaya University Postgraduate Program; Policy Analysis Team using the CGE model at the Center for Economic Development Studies, Department of Economics at Padjadjaran University Bandung, Indonesia; Expert Team in Trade Policy Analysis and Development Agency at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia; Assessment Team at the Marine and Fisheries Research and Development Agency at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia; Series Book Team of Agricultural Development at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia; Expert Team in Agricultural Research and Development at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia.

Hermanto also participated in the writing of many scientific papers published by IAARD Press from the Agricultural Research and Development Agency, as well as other journals and books and became part of national and international journals, accounting for approximately 12 journals and was part of the writing of 12 books.
