Dr. Ir. Maesti Mardiharini, M.Si
Agricultural Communication and Technology Transfer
Maesti Mardiharini, was born in 1962, formal education at Development Extension and obtained a Doctorate degree in 2020 from the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). As a researcher at the Indonesia Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD) from 1991 – June 2022, she has done a lot of research on social, economic, agricultural institutions, and gender analysis. She has also served as Head of the Research Cooperation Section at the Indonesia Center for Agricultural Technology Assessment and Development (ICATAD) (2005 – 2006) and Chair of the Socio-Economic Research Group for Agricultural Innovation (2020 – 2021) at the same institution.
For the past ten years, she has been assigned the task of being in charge of assessment activities and coordinating several innovation assistance activities, including the development of agricultural areas based on farmer corporations in all provinces in Indonesia.
In addition, she also carries out many collaborative research activities, both inter-unit collaboration within the agency and outside the agency. The awards obtained are Satya Lencana Karya Satya-X and XX years old.
Many publications have been produced, both in the form of highly reputable global indexed journals, reputable global indexed proceedings, accredited national journals, and various books/sections of national publications. Starting on June 17, 2022, she took part in the institutional transformation, moving to the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), with an Associate Expert Research degree at the Cooperatives, Corporations, and People’s Economy Research Centre, at the Governance, Economics, and People’s Welfare Governance Research Organization (TKPEKM OR).
